Book of the month - September - One Day

It’s 1988 and Dexter Mayhew and Emma Morley have only just met. But after only one day together, they cannot stop thinking about one another. Over twenty years, snapshots of that relationship are revealed on the same day—July 15th—of each year. Dex and Em face squabbles and fights, hopes and missed opportunities, laughter and tears. And as the true meaning of this one crucial day is revealed, they must come to grips with the nature of love and life itself.

I just LOVED this book! I felt every feeling possible and sat crying for ages reading this book! It was just so wonderful! It felt like I knew Emma and Dexter and that I lived those 20 years with them. It is such a heartbreaking book and I`m so terrified that thats how I`m going to spend 20 years. It`s a must read!

Tony Parsons :

A totally brilliant book about the heartbreaking gap between the way we were and the way we are . . . the best weird love story since The Time Traveler s Wife. Every reader will fall in love with it. And every writer will wish they had written it.
